The art store across from us has a roland sc540 and sells banners at $4/sqft. It isn't their primary market so I am guessing they do this just to fill machine time.
We do a 4x2 'Welcome Home' military banner for $12. Often times those that buy that one get a bunch of shirts to go with it...
The temp labor places are pretty good and the $15/hr is pretty reasonable. Here in CA min wage is $8 plus you have to pay all the taxes/fees which brings you pretty close to $12. We are debating if going to a temp is better or just doing a direct hire.

We still have this problem from time to time. We also have them sometimes leave a notice on the door before our regular business hours. They just seem to have a lot of labor problems there.
The letters are not protected but the fraternities are and the combination of letters for each one is. Go figure.
If you decide to do it you may get a visit from the greek letter police. :Big Laugh
We pretty much go by the square foot and have a minimum charge of around $100 for printed, less so for cut vinyl. It depends on the job. If you are doing greek letters then you probably need to register with the greek gods of fraternities and pay a royalty every quarter to them...
