Yes and he refuses to let me change them but that is also the reason for the quotation marks around "logos" in my original post. We need the work so if I am forced to I will do it gagging the whole way.
So I remember reading somewhere that this is true but here is the situation.
A Customer brought me a PowerPoint file (ugh) and he wants to use the "logos" (5 of them) he created on a roll up banner. He swears they are copy written so I can not change them in any way. I am trying to explain that...

Thanks i found a solution I just used Character Map and retyped it then copy past into illy doesn't work in flexi. Covert to outline save then take that into flexi. Long way around but it worked. Now I am faced with one that wants Chinese. Urrrg
Does anyone know how I can take text a customer gave me in an email that is in Russian and use it in one of my design programs. When I copy and past I just get question marks in both Illustrator and Flexi?
