  1. Anybody Using Time Clocks

I have a very small shop with few employees and I use a timeclock. I got one on ebay for like $40 it's a finger print one, so the employees touch their finger on it and it clocks them in and out, it's very quick and easy. When it's time to check the records you pop in a usb and click two buttons...
  2. Need Help In a pickle on laminators...

I have a SEAL and it's been amazing. Why in the world do you want heat assist? It's pretty useless in the sign industry. Only needed for special things. Mine is a cold only and never had a single problem. SEALs are a bit tricky in the beginning to learn but after that it's a piece of cake.
  3. What Is Youw Vinyl Removal Process

I avoid using a heat gun for removal. There are two methods I use, #1. A steamer, not only does it heat, but it's steaming water and the vinyl actually falls off on it's own if it's fresh or you can just pull old off with your fingers, works like magic. #2. The MBX vinyl zapper, worth the...
  4. News Coreldraw 2017 (new Version)

Corel X8 is quite amazing, but I don't know what 2017 is all about? By the way I have zero issues with X8, you just need to download the patch from the website and your good.
  5. Quick! Sign Auction! Look

Only 15 hours left, if anyone is in Florida, this is an amazing deal for you. I would buy one off someone if you can remove the ink and flush the lines, but I don't want to have it shipped and the print heads seize up on me over the course of 3 days. Most real estate riders are aluminum, are you planning on not offering that?
  7. Imageclub10!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never used them, they are a joke anyways. I only use vectorstock.com it's the best, most things are only $1 (1 credit), plus it comes in several formats and compatible with all vector software.
  8. New Guy The 50-year-old Startup

What type of equipment do you have? and what is your target market?
  9. Opinion What would you say...?

Generally these are people who don't know anything about signs but want to get into the business. By avoiding the cost of employees, equipment, vehicles, supplies, etc it's all profit to them. I'd stay away from them.
  10. U.s. Neon Vendors

I am hoping all neon plants shut down soon. It's already obsolete. Retrofit to LED!
  11. Not your typical vehicle wrap

    That's pretty awesome.
  12. Rapid Tac

I use it for layering and etched glass vinyl. It's amazing stuff. I feel it helps the adhesive stick better. I also use Rapid Prep for cleaning all my substrates.
  13. Who Else Has Horror Story

They have cut down on their phone staff, much less people now. Longer wait times and they have a large delay to try to get you to leave a voice mail instead of talking to someone.
  14. Warning For Those Accessing Internet With Windows.

Yeah I received one from a sign supplier that was legit, but the email it came from and the link was fake. I just deleted it. Scroll your mouse over the link and see what the website is and see if it goes to the real website.
  15. Buying My First Bucke Ttruck

You have had some bad luck, but not all trucks are that way. A 96 is going to have some pretty serious issues and you can't find parts for them anymore other than a junk yard. Even my 05 I am having a hard time getting parts for it, but it's a tank.

3/16" Polycarbonate with a Printed/Laminated Translucent vinyl, then you are good to go.
  18. Buying My First Bucke Ttruck

That is probably because you bought a lemon. The only maintenance I do is oil changes and yearly inspection. I've only had a truck break down for 2 issues over the course of 3 1/2 years. If you buy one in good condition, you shouldn't have any issues. EDIT: BTW my first truck was a 2000 and my...
  19. Buying My First Bucke Ttruck

I know quite a bit about bucket trucks, I've owned two and have done a ton of research. The one you have shown in the photo is worthless for the most part, it's generally 29 - 32' and is a single arm with an inner boom. That was my first truck and I hated it. It has push buttons on it which is...
