From what I've heard from others it's annoying and frustrating for vehicle wraps. When you go around a tight curve, it doesn't stick. Personally I haven't tried it, but from others, certain applications can be annoying.

I cut the tabs on the inks and that gives me maximum, but as for ml missing from it when manufactured, can't help you there.

What I mean is that if you are buying the cheapest vinyl such as 4 year vinyl or buying off brands from ebay and amazon, then you probably will get splices. The 3 top companies are really good about splicing which is probably why I don't see it.

In my 10 years in the sign business, I have only had a splice one time. Don't know if I am lucky or just buying the better stuff.

Am I the only one who knows the trick with the Roland inks? That extra 40 ml that is still in it, I use about 35 of it and then throw it away. You can bypass the out of ink function in a matter of seconds and use it up to the last drop.

I usually use Orajet 3850 and never had a problem, that is weird that yours is peeling. Avery was the worst.

I went to a local Department of Defense machine shop and am having them machine a special die and adapter for my hiker grommet machine. This way I can do anything up to 0.80 aluminum with oblong holes for real estate signs, all in a grommet press. Worth the investment.

No it was an electrical pen tester. I know the difference and have installed, repaired and retrofitted over 65 electrical signs. Personal safety is one reason I avoid neon, but another is because it's horrible, burns out quickly, tubes break, expensive to repair, etc

Do you not know that Neon is 30,000 volts and LED is 12 volts? But there are a dozen reasons to switch, however there are some neon nazi's on here that live to serve and protect it, so not worth the argument.
