Here's a iPhone picture from last night's picking session.
Not sure what is more aesthetically pleasing, the F style mandolin I built or the perfectly poured pint of Guinness.

Now for my moment of newbie-ism -
I have only used the stuff from the lumberyard. Just moved to a higher end lumber supplier and theirs does seem marginally better than the place around the corner. Marginally more expensive as well. They do not offer pre-primed, however.
It seems to work fine...
Hmm. This is something I have just gotten used to. No real rhyme or reason so far as I can tell. Though, mine only does it about once a week.
I hit enter and it continues on its merry way without a hiccup.

Looking for a circular pan faced sign, convex.
Like an old Phillips sign. Doesn't have to be exactly like this, but it is the look they are going for.
Only needs to be approx 24" diameter.
Any idea where to source a custom pan face?

marvelous work -
Makes me want to get out the down comforter, sit by the wood stove and pick guitar all winter.
You have truly left your mark with a project like that.

I like the tattoo and the story, though I would have left off the tired fish design. I think the shell and the cross would have been a more subtle tribute.
Sounds like a good gal Arlo.
Good luck,
GP
