  1. Plotter for sandblasting ( rubber) stencils

I've been doing some sand blasted 12" granite tiles lately. Nothing fancy, just names on memorials. Believe it or not, I have been using a double layer of calendered vinyl. The sandblast mask is like killing a mosquito with an ax for the depth I need (not much) just to etch names.
  2. I need glasses!!!

Bifocals. My brother in law is a Wally World optician and when I had to go to bifocals he talked me into progressives. Hated them. Gave them the old college try, just couldn't stand 'em. Asked him to do it again with lined bifocals and also added the lenses that turn into sunglasses outdoors...

  4. Adhesion question

Rapid tac 2 is what you need for glass if you are doing a wet install. I try to do dry apps on glass whenever I can, but when the situation calls for wet, this is what I use.

  6. Message for all animal lovers out there..

A week ago Thursday I had to put down my best friend, he is the pic in my avatar. It is one of the toughest things I have ever had to do. Brings tears to my eyes still just thinking about it. As heartbroken as I have been since, I shudder to think what I would be capable of doing to someone who...

Without getting too specific I can tell you your guess at footer is miles off. Just recently set a one sided scoreboard, 3 pieces totaling 11x18 feet signage on two 8" steel poles. Bottom of sign 9 feet above grade. Footers were 4' wide x 7' deep concrete. Sign itself weighed a little over 400...

  14. Printing Traffic Signs

Plot vinyl or a one arm sqeegee table for screen printing. Most of the traffic signs I have produced over the years are 4x4, aluminum to spec, coat with reflective to spec, print, stack to dry. If you need to print mesh, use plastisol t-shirt ink, run through conveyor dryer. 10k isn't going to...

  17. Finally found a use for Avery!

Never mind, this junk doesn't even stick to granite. Of course it's as old as the hills so in the round file the roll goes. Back to good old Oracal.
