Oh trust me, i know. I use all 3 apertures for different types of media. I've also tested different apertures on different medias to see what works best. I1pro 2 is a good entry level all round device. Most will never need more than that.

That's for 1 bag. Yep varnish was easy to clean.

It shouldn't. unless setup wrong. It does read quite fast IMO. It could be the patch size being to small, especially if he's using it with the arizona. It reads quicker than the LFP. It does have different measurement modes, but the continuous is the quickest speed, but still slower as it does...

IICR you need to buy the flush bag kit. I couldn't find much use for it when we first got it, i did some random stuff with it. If i had it now, i know more things i could do with it but i use double white more often, much more often

FYI for onyx you only need to turn of your security for installation. That’s it. You turn it back on after you installed it.

Nice upgrade to a 660. I've had varnish. Wasn't much use for us so went double white. Not hard to change really so if you want to try it and change over its easy. I have a clean room so I don't get much dust in it. Imo try it and If you don't like it change over.

Calibrating UV printers is quite different than solvent / ink jets. UV printers wont show bleeds or artefacts in ink limits. Different software will treat densities differently. I personally dont see the point in using patches larger than a IT8.7/4 target (1617 patches) or a ECI2002 (1484...

Im always curious to how some peoples setups are. Mine would be nothing a like most peoples as we do mostly glass printing so we have a long desk, a flat bed and all this space in the room with tables on wheels, flip tables, A frames ect.

Onyx gets most colours and does quite a good job I must admit, but with some it does struggle. Playing with ink limits did help. I suppose it does save ink but also use less ink to produce the same colours. For me highest accuracy is very important. On my Arizona the ink limits just keep...

Well, when i was first learning to do profiles years ago, Oce had a bulletin showing how to do it and it said to skip the ink limiting part in onyx so i always have. That was the issue all a long. I decided to look how Oce made profiles and in fact they used ink limiting. So i tried it and has...

I did some more tests and evaluations today. Paper has no OBAs I use a standard paper with a satin finish as im printing on a Oce Arizona UV. So roughly 15/95/95/15 was going to 20/80/80/20 (rounded numbers) I checked the red ramp and it was clear, It was all good until that area it would go...
  13. Chinese Flatbed printer

I have... and why i have an Oce. What i dont like is odd size bed. Cant print 2 1200 x 2400 sheets at a time. (Print 1 sheet, change and load the next) No, i dont like the board option, I also dont like how the roll has to go over the whole machine. Yes they may be quicker than mine, but...
  14. Chinese Flatbed printer

I dont. I know a few techs that have worked on both, and have assembled both brands. I trust their opinions a lot.
  15. Question can i use my software on win10

you can do 32bit on a 62 bit machine, just not 64bit on a 32bit machine. as for win 10, it should work but best ask your software provider.
  16. Chinese Flatbed printer

I dont think Oce/Fuji support is the same overseas like it is here. We buy directly from Oce, They buy 3rd party.
  17. Chinese Flatbed printer

Dissagree. SwissQ is not a superior build to the Oce machines. And the OP needs a company that would have local support and SwissQ will most likely not have local support.
  18. Chinese Flatbed printer

Not sure if you know, but Oce (a Canon company) make the Fuji Acuity flat bed printers. They're just re branded by fuji so you may be able to contact an Oce dealer if theres one in your country? Back on your question though, If you want a new flatbed, you want to buy from a local dealer who can...
  19. Chinese Flatbed printer

You've got a Fuji Acuity flat bed, why dont you fix the issues first. The Chinese junk will cost you more later on when that breaks down as no one can fix it for you.
