just out of curiosity, why do you have dust on your prints? i ask this because it could be that you can avoid the situation on the front end depending on how your prints are handled thus not needing the extra step and time of having to clean them before laminating.

yeah it does if you load it within a certain amount of time. otherwise it cancels the job. i tryed the email alerts thing but could never get it to work.

man this is getting frustrating. printer runs out of ink color and no audible alarms built into the firmware. unless you are watching the thing print 24/7 you never would know you are out of ink? why is this HP? can you PLEASE ad some audible alarms in the next stellar firmware go around?

we get a ton more of the error lately that says the printer randomly needs to be shut down in the middle of prints too. i think its from overheating etc. typically this is followed immediately by a l/lc head is bad error upon restart. this never happened until the new firmware was installed.

we ran banners on our 1304's at 540x720 with faster than normal (not blazing but faster than 720x720) with great results. the hps not so much. i have to check the canned profile we used and moded, but tis no where near as fast as the mutohs. not majorly slower but not as fast. standard 10...

you look at digi prints with a mag loop? even up close we have no graininess. then again i have no particular reason to use a mag loop. could be you are looking for fine art quality. these printers suck *** on canvas. again, all digi printer suck and have their quarks. but i wouldnt...

sorry. but your wrong. i have tens of miles of media through my hp's. both raster and vector. no graininess. and im not a fanboy. i hate em as much as i hated my mutohs. digital printers are moody bitches. all of them. ive had 8 so far. but no graininess on my hps. nor my mutohs for that matter...

load as normal. and manual load as explained above. hit banner material on the first menu that pops up. it will load, do its skew test and then a feed calibration. if you are getting an error, post up what the error code is, and call hp support. it shouldnt be happening.
