    just out of curiosity, why do you have dust on your prints? i ask this because it could be that you can avoid the situation on the front end depending on how your prints are handled thus not needing the extra step and time of having to clean them before laminating.

    yeah it does if you load it within a certain amount of time. otherwise it cancels the job. i tryed the email alerts thing but could never get it to work.

    man this is getting frustrating. printer runs out of ink color and no audible alarms built into the firmware. unless you are watching the thing print 24/7 you never would know you are out of ink? why is this HP? can you PLEASE ad some audible alarms in the next stellar firmware go around?

    we get a ton more of the error lately that says the printer randomly needs to be shut down in the middle of prints too. i think its from overheating etc. typically this is followed immediately by a l/lc head is bad error upon restart. this never happened until the new firmware was installed.

    load as normal. and manual load as explained above. hit banner material on the first menu that pops up. it will load, do its skew test and then a feed calibration. if you are getting an error, post up what the error code is, and call hp support. it shouldnt be happening.
