  1. Drop Shadows

It does have to do with the drop shadow or any blended effects over a spot color. Unless you want to get a different RIP, like Onyx, who says they eliminate this problem, you have to flatten the file and place your cut lines on top. It has done this for me with every type of file.
  2. Does anyone use this INK??

I am not doubting anyone, but what makes you believe that this is a hoax? I am just curious so I pay more attention on scams.

  8. Has anyone seen this?

I had a flyer on this forwarded to me. It looks AWESOME!! I think the people who got the XC-540MT will be ticked. I know I would be if I bought one.
  9. INK. Roland Eco-Sol Max

Contact Jason at All Square. He has some awesome prices.
  10. Has anyone seen this?

I just checked again too, and it is gone. I guess they weren't supposed to have that up. I was hoping for just a 6-color versacamm. That is the only thing I wish mine had, the only reason I would like an xc-540 as I don't do the high volume yet. It will be interested to see though.
  11. Has anyone seen this?

On the home page of JSI Sign, they have what looks like a 6 color Versacamm. Here is the link: http://www.jsisign.com/ I am just curious on what it is?
  12. Hp 5500ps

I do have a VP-540 for my outdoor work, decals, signs, etc. I have just been looking into one of these for interior work, posters, etc.
  13. Hp 5500ps

I do like your price better as long as it comes with the heads and inks. I feel comfortable setting it up as long as there is support if a question comes up. Plus having at least 1 year warranty is nice. Can you get me some more information on what you have?
  14. Hp 5500ps

Thank you for the info. Where are you located BigFishDM? The other issue is what shipping cost would be. The one place I have looked at so far is in Chicago for a reman 60" 5500PS with a new set of UV inks and all new heads, plus a 3 year warranty and setup and install for $4895.
  15. Roland Blade from eBay

That is interesting. I might have to try it. I have been using some off of ebay for the past 4 years. I can't remember the company right now, just that his logo has a 4 leaf clover in it. They were like $35 for 12 blades.
  16. Hp 5500ps

Hello. I have been looking into getting a 60" 5500PS to add to my lineup. I was wondering if anyone had one they used and what they think of the quality, durability, etc., ect. I do know that I want to go with the UV inks in it. :thankyou:
  17. Which Cutting Software?

Don't certain cutters have plug-ins for Illustrator that allow you to cut from it?
  18. Good thing there are warranties

I guess I have never looked into the warranty fine print. Sticking with Roland ink, I don't have to hassle with it. I have been looking into 3rd party inks a lot lately. I am just undecided on which one to go with.
  19. Good thing there are warranties

I was having connectivity problems with my VP-540. After trying everything we could think of, they finally decided to replace the NIK card in my printer. I didn't realize that on my machine, the NIK card is part of the main board. I am just glad that I didn't have to cough up the money for that...
  20. Problems working with illustrator!!!!

You can keep your different objects on different layers. I prefer the selection method over Corel as I thinks it's nice to just drag a selection onto part of the object to select it.
