that's what i'd do...there may be some aspects of it that don't work, or that others have experienced issues with.....i just wouldn't want you forking out more money than you need to....especially if what you have will work fine...

i run vista on my laptop and have both corel 8 and 12 installed....both run and function properly without issues....did you try installing it and have a problem? or just going off what you've heard?? ....but i'm the kinds person to say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

use 180 controltac....expensive, but works better than anything else...

you can't cut a jpg.....you can create a contour from a jpg....and if the original raster is nasty, so will the contour be....

some pdfs are vector, some are not....jpegs are NEVER vector and you have to either trace them, or send them to someone who will.....vector doctor is an MM here if you're looking to outsource it...inkscape has excellent raster to vector autotrace as long as you have decent starting artwork....it...

depends what you're looking for....i use istock for a lot of my photo needs

there are handwritten fonts on dafont too.....

be sure to use the right case...i know certain letters in the font look the same in upper/lower, but some have slight differences (the S and H for example)

why not create your own poster? if that's what you want.... i know signlab comes with a categorized fold out of all their fonts....

since you're running gerber plotters, i'd stick with composer....if anything, get the upgrade to 3.0....but i wouldn't switch over to flexi
