  3. Too many sign shops!!

I don't know how many times I've had customers come in and balk at the price of mags or yard signs because they had just placed an ad in one of the local papers and didn't have the cash to pay. I always ask how much they paid and than tell them what they could have had for the same amount. I...
  4. Heat press

You hear folks on hear saying "you get what you paid for" all the time. My advice, since you're asking for it. Save and get one from a company you can call when you need parts or assistance. At some point you'll need a fuse or something for this.

The one's I work with are friendly. The others in town are neither. There's 3 sign shops we help out with dig. prints from time to time. 12. Ideas for substrate holder

OP...looks good. If you don't mind that I make one suggestion. Place a 2x4 under the two that are supporting the substrate. As it is now, the weight of the substrate is on what ever is fastening (screws or nails) the two 2x4's to the one that has the rope attached to it.
  13. How do you contour cut a raster image?

He's not trying to cut a raster image. He's trying to contour cut it after it's been printed. I could help out if you were using Corel. We do these almost every day. I'm sure someone who uses Illy will chime in.

I don't know how that would work on a koozie. Does the customer want to be able to change out the photo? If not then I would recommend printing and heat apply on Solutions Opaque material. We do a lot of koozies this way.

  17. Aaaaaaaaaaargh PopUP material

    Maybe he meant "small rocks"
