Why not store it in an old paint can? Most towns have a clean up day and will take old paint and discard it properly. Mark the can "solvent paint" someone might scratch their head for a sec, but it will end up where it needs to be.

Build one. We have a 4x8 and a 4x16. Has 4x4 for legs, 2x6's for framing with 3/4" plywood on the top covered with 3mm sintra and then cutting mats. You can park a truck on them. :-)
