I had a bad firewire cable do some wonky stuff similar to what your experiencing one time on our 160sp when we had it. Good Luck.

It will cure with time, I've used low pre-feed temps, and pretty high platen temps with good results on chrome and reflective films on our solv & eco sol. Heavy coverage can be rough to dial in on the chrome. Best of Luck.

We have used some of the Oracal paint protection stuff, and it is very durable stuff. It wont effect your image anymore than normal gloss lam. It's fine for print and cut, plot slower than normal with a good sharp blade. Keep it on flat or simple surfaces and you should be fine.

I would reccomend Oracal Stone Guard film series 270 over the areas that are flat, thorns will never hurt it. If you dont Laminate your graphics will rapidly fade in the Texas sun. Oracal and Avery both make quality wrap films.

Look for an OFFSET setting on your plotter, it will have and X an Y setting, it should be set close to or at zero. Sounds like your may be set to .5". Best of Luck.
