  1. Empty PNG's in Flexi 10

Try zooming out, that sometimes makes things magically appear. I find that black and white .PSD are 100% reliable, just slap a bezier on it then contour that. Best of luck.
  2. Anyone running an Epson SC 50670 w/white ink?

Thanks Grizz, our sales rep is supposed to be getting us samples but if he doesn't come through soon I may take you up on that offer.
  3. Anyone running an Epson SC 50670 w/white ink?

Thanks for the input. We run flexi 10 and would primarily be using it for production runs of 1 to 3 rolls of 54" clear at a time. So once we get it set up correctly we should be good to go. One thing I was wondering about, is the white a nice solid white? banding a problem at all?
  4. Cannot downgrade firmware!

I always was under the impression that firmware updates were unreversable. I could be, and the way this day has been going, probably am wrong though.
  5. Do Latex Printers Us The Same Materials As Solvent Printers?

you printed on styrene on a latex printer? really? An HP latex?
  6. Anyone running an Epson SC 50670 w/white ink?

Looking for feedback from anyone running a 50670 with the white ink. We would primarily be printing on Oracal 3641 clear. I realize the white ink is more expensive, but would save us considerable labor(and mask) for the long haul. We are currently running a 30670 and are very pleased with it...
  7. Ink Gradually Thining

sounds like your pump is losing pressure somewhere. Best of Luck.
  8. Creepy Animatronic Sign Wavers

We have a 'instant cash advance' place across the street from our shop, they have this guy out there EVERY day waving a sign around, same guy for years. I feel sorry for him if the owner catches on to these things.
  9. Tricky design for a pickup truck

    By far.
  10. Would I benefit by puttting in a SSD drive in my five year old computer?

Just so you know...the drive controller is only capable of 3.0 Gb/s on that motherboard, so that SSD will be running at half its potential speed. You will likely see a speed boost but imho not enough to justify the investment. copied from the spec sheet: Drive Controllers Integrated LSI 1068e...
  11. UPS boycott

I just have to say that UPS employees are VERY well taken care of, I worked at a commercial laundry service for many years and we did UPS's uniforms. I saw many pay stubs and believe me, they are well compensated(at least for this area). There are many other corporations out there taking FAR...
  12. Dreaded network issues

I would try turning off all 'Power Saving' features on your laptop.
  13. Before and After Van lettering

That guy will re-coup his investment many times over in new customers.
  14. Epson surecolor s70670 reviews please

I have been running a 30670 for a little over a year, and the thing is amazing, blazing speed compared to our JV33 with much crisper prints. Maintenance is a breeze, I do a thorough cleaning once a week of the printheads & capping area and a few drops of oil on the rails and good to go. Ink...
  15. Opening CMYK and RGB files in flexi

    removed.
  16. Crestliner boat - font?

I'm not a designer and this is probably a stupid question, but couldn't you just bring the photo you have which looks to be a decent resolution into Illustrator and trace it, get a clean vector, size it, then drag it into photoshop and work some magic? I realize you lose the vectoring but if...
  17. I just made the biggest blunder one could make on a full wrap for a full size van

Flexi has a seperate 'Panels' tab in Production Manager, pretty foolproof.
  18. Two Plotters one serial connection ? roland and US Cutter ?

something like this should work for you: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815166004
  19. Converting raster image to vector for contour cutting

I know some people are not real fond of Flexi but if you know how to tweek the bezier/enhanced curves/corners and make transparent features you can set up pretty complex contour in a few minutes. I believe Flexisign 7.x or greater has these features so you may be able to find a copy on ebay...
