  2. REALLY getting tired....... Nodes are eating up my time !

Make a black and white version of your graphic in Phototshop or Illustrator...flatten image either way. Bring it into Flexi, use BEZIER down the Bitmap Menu under Vectorize. Put your contour cut on the resulting trace, seperate contour, delete the bezier trace(or dont), then import your...
  3. I Need Some Installation Advice!

Those are baby rivets, i love the phillips head ones the most, the tall ones, complete with metal burs from overtightening at the factory. I had as much time into sanding down the burs as I did the actual intsall.

I've been an avid video gamer since the Carter administration and yah the graphics are a little better these days. Anyone remember the Commodore Vic-20, 64, Amiga, Texas Instruments TI-84, Atari 2600/5200, Intellivision, Colecovision....the good ole days.

  7. wow, paint coming off of truck

I use rare earth magnets on vehichle installs, I have several different sizes and shapes depending what I'm applying and they save a ton of time and mask hinges. And I guess my point is I've used them as 'cheats' as you call them also, but they are awesome for repositioning and measuring as well.

  9. Chevy Tailgate Wrap Pricing

1005 is very repositionable compared to some other brands I've used and that tail-gate handle is about as easy as they come.
  10. Chevy Tailgate Wrap Pricing

Avery Dennison SC MPI 1005 Vinyl and Avery Dennison DOL 1060 laminate is more than adequate for a tail-gate, I have full wraps with that stuff at least 4 years out and they still look perfect. I did a fleet vehichle(20-30 vehichles) a few weeks ago, tail-gate and entire drivers side, printed on...
  11. The market for car wrap

Do you currently own a printer or laminator? With your climate UV laminate would definately be reccomended. An install area that is clean and out of the wind will also be a huge asset. If I'm not mistaken you guys drive smaller cars in India, less material is a good thing as wrap materials are...

You could just pull a Pantone chart off Google images, print it as big as you want, hang it on the wall or make a swatch book out of it for the lobby. We have used this method with great success and consistency....just make sure you use the same media and icc when you go to production. Also...

  17. Wait.....WHAT??????

I would reccomend a 'latex' banner material, I refuse to do banners on our L25500 if they are over 8' in length, too much waste in material and time. I can ram it through one of our eco-sols and be hemming it before the HP would start printing. This printer just simply is not compatible with...

Worn out pinch rollers can cause what I'm seeing in the pic.
  19. 3m icc's for cvj30

Try using Oracals icc's for the equivalent media. 3M sucks at making profiles, much like they suck at making vinyl.
