I use rare earth magnets on vehichle installs, I have several different sizes and shapes depending what I'm applying and they save a ton of time and mask hinges. And I guess my point is I've used them as 'cheats' as you call them also, but they are awesome for repositioning and measuring as well.

1005 is very repositionable compared to some other brands I've used and that tail-gate handle is about as easy as they come.

Do you currently own a printer or laminator? With your climate UV laminate would definately be reccomended. An install area that is clean and out of the wind will also be a huge asset. If I'm not mistaken you guys drive smaller cars in India, less material is a good thing as wrap materials are...

You could just pull a Pantone chart off Google images, print it as big as you want, hang it on the wall or make a swatch book out of it for the lobby. We have used this method with great success and consistency....just make sure you use the same media and icc when you go to production. Also...

Worn out pinch rollers can cause what I'm seeing in the pic.

Try using Oracals icc's for the equivalent media. 3M sucks at making profiles, much like they suck at making vinyl.
