Wrap vinyl with Air-egress liners like Oracals Rapid Air and 3M's Comply don't cut text well and aren't designed for that. It's possible but troublesome especially when application tape doesn't stick well and curls off the liner.

The print head should travel the full length to allow consistent dry-time so you get consistent prints at any size. Cutting that process out will save time but can affect the print quality if over saturated.

Looks like a typical Avery failure. The cast black vinyl shows an irregular adhesive shrinkage line from 1/8in. - 1/4in. and long wrinkles will start to appear in the lettering. The problem is the black not the burgundy. Are you sure it wasn't manufactured by Avery and resold under a...

Glass can be real funny sometimes. Cold install? Cast or Cal? Window cleaner and Rapid tac sounds like your problem.
