  1. Thanks Fred!

Got the merrow in but the distributor doesn't sell the floss so I had to order from Robison/Anoton. We will have about 8 colors in tomorrow but we did get a black spool with the machine. I managed to break all 4 needles that came with it right away and had to wait for our additional 50 that...

  3. Scams?

You got $7/shirt for blanks? What are they made of, gold? The scams are normally something where they over pay you and you give them real money back and you are stuck with the product and a bounced check or chargeback.

  10. Thanks Fred!

I don't think I will be doing 1K patches a day but our orders are getting larger. We have gone from a few at a time to dozens at a time. Getting rid of that ugly satin stitch and doing the merrow will cut down on sewing time as well as trimming time. I am making up blanks to take down to our...

Yes, it is the mg3u. Can't wait, training on Monday and take it back to the shop. Talked to the MFG before we purchased and they said most are shipped out of the US. All are made to order, been waiting over 2 months for it. Our patch/emblem biz has grown quite a bit in the last 6 months. This...
  13. usb printer cable

Monoprice comes highly recommended. They are right in our backyard and I never heard of them until just a few weeks ago.
  14. Thanks Fred!

Oh my, something I might know more about than most here. Thanks for the opportunity. BTW, Our Merrow machine arrives sometime this week so we will be a 'made in the USA' emblem (patch) source, something those we sourced to have shipped outside the US long ago. Now I only need to find is...
  15. The Power Bill

We use the A/C when it gets to 80 inside. Front door is always open. A partition between the front and back helps keep it cooler in the back. We are in a retail area so lots of walking traffic.

we use heat press vinyl on them. no problems in a couple of years of doing it.
  17. font id please

Thanks, I took one of the close fonts and converted to curves and then moved the nodes. The 'artwork' consisted of a printed sheet of paper and an embroidered hat I took a photo of. I noticed while doing this the center of the lettering is to the right of the I in the center. Oh well, it isn't...
