Interesting that www.epsonsucks.com is now owned by Epson.
  4. Starting on my own

If you'd bought a Summa you'd still have it and still be happy with it. :thumb:
  5. Starting on my own

Don't lowball on the plotter. It's your cash machine, buy a workhorse, not a cheap Chinese hobby machine.
  6. Payment to sole proprietors...

About 75% of my work is 100% invoiced. I send invoices on the first billing day (meaning the day I sit my *** down and do the invoicing) after the order is placed whether it's completed or not. All invoices are sent DUE ON RECEIPT. I think my average wait for payment last year was right at...
  7. logo idea

Going off your last round of ideas why not expand the "V" into a check mark coming out of the circle with the "I" following along the right side of the check mark? Just a thought and it may not work but it might be worth looking at. Here's your "crayola marker on the back of a pizza box"...
  8. Installing into Stucco...HELP!

Exactly. Do not go the adhesive route. If there's nothing supporting it that you can drill into now if they ever go to pull the sign down they're going to be replacing a big chunk of missing stucco.
  9. first time so be gentle with me

I wish you people would stop being such buttheads about this. You know how valuable it would be to have an electrician participating here?

  13. Ever been to Havana Cuba?

I think that's what the escorts were for.
  14. Logo Critique

Here you go.....Bon Jovi is about the only thing relevant to NJ that gives character and is different that just words (because I wasn't going to take the time to draw a beach covered in New York's garbage)
  15. Let's Discuss Pickles...

You hate pickles. You hate bacon. You tell me that you hate Coca-Cola I'm calling you out for being a communist.
  16. Ever been to Havana Cuba?

It's not that hard to get there and it's techically legal as long as you don't spend any money there. I've got a couple of customers who used to go down every summer. They would fly to Mexico, then to Cuba from there. They both ALWAYS mentioned that they could pick up a gorgeous "escort" for...
  17. Is your canvas this big?

They literally drag a 50' x 100' banner behind an airplane?!
  18. Logo Critique

I don't know, it's more effective than about 75% of the sign company logos I see.
  19. Logo Critique

How much work could it possibly take? You're changing your logo on everything anyway, all you've got to do it hit backspace and type C.
  20. Logo Critique

Looks outdated and you misspelled GRAPHICS. I think people are over the whole "X" thing. As long as you're redoing the logo get rid of it.
