i've only had mine since november and i replaced two cyan heads already, the HP tech said the next firmware update was going to have a more powerful cleaning cycle...
that is one reason i was thinking about not upgrading.
they made more powerful head cleaning, wasting more ink and cleaning pad just so they don't have to replace your heads under warranty...
didn't know it was out yet, thought i might get an email or something when it did...
i have a ton of printing to do in the next couple of days, i'll wait until after that to install it.
it's been a decade since i picked up a brush and longer since i made anything worth while with it.
i guess he wants to dazzle people with old age stuff, i like making money instead....
i was never that good, but i did notice that he wasn't either...
+1, have done this a few times, works well
one of the signs i did this for was a subsurface, 1/4" plexi, 3' x 3'.
i used four studs. put the sign where i wanted it, pushed into the stuck to give me marks. drilled and glued....
usually when i do the survey i take my drill and drill a hole either in a inconspicuous place or directly in the middle of where the sign is going. this way the sign will cover the hole for sure...
the only real advice is wait until you drill the hole to figure out what will work.
no matter what they tell you it is, it usually isn't....
drill the hole and find out where you stand.....
