Thank you both! Don't know how you guys do it.
  2. The Wolfs Fixins

Trying to locate these three fonts. The middle and bottom should be easy but that top one throws me off. Thanks in advance.
  3. Can anyone tell me where to get these clips for realtor signs?

I get mine from Harbor Sales.
  4. smeared looking print on reflective

The 5600 is not a printable vinyl. It doesn't mean you can't print it, but it's not going to last as intended.
  5. GlassAdhere

I've been wanting to try Glass Adhere, good to know someone tried it and it works. For those of you wanting it cheap, you get what you pay for and you don't get what you don't pay for. I wouldn't suggest an offbrand.
  6. Now this p!ssed me off......................................

I agree 100%. A merchant on this forum kept posting LOL for his products and when I mentioned that few people would take him seriously and that it's unprofessional, he didn't like those comments at all, but it's the truth.
  7. Legal Mess. Who's to blame?

It's not just the face, the pylon pole covers, shape, design, etc is all trademarked.
  8. Legal Mess. Who's to blame?

Tasteless to post. Please keep politics out of this forum.
  9. Legal Mess. Who's to blame?

This has sort of happened to me with a Chevy dealership. GM shut them down and the bank reprocessed the building. The owner was very upset that we were called out to destroy his pylon signs and other signage. However it didn't matter if he paid for them, it's still owned by Chevy/GM because it's...
  10. Artwork Approval

They pay for it unless they are a really good customer or if I type everything myself. Like if I don't have a usable file and have to remake it.
  11. Revolutionary New Way to do Changeable Graphics!

Just a tip, I wouldn't use "Lol" either. If you took this to the commercial market, that would be unprofessional to use. Anyways I wish you the best of luck, I don't see a need for it in my shop.
  12. Revolutionary New Way to do Changeable Graphics!

Sounds like you laminate the wall and then put your graphics on it. I am concerned with the overenthusiastic and many exclamation marks.

  14. Why is my print vinyl "plucking" or "buckling" when it enters the printer?

I recently found the issue. I took off the metal clamps that hold the material flat and found a bunch of dried and undried adhesive under them. I scrape it all off, also saw they were slightly just barely bent upwards, I bent them down again and it's been working without issues now.
  15. Suggestions for a Laminator

I have a SEAL 54EL which is 54" but it's been amazing after all these years, so easy to use. I recommend that in the 64" series. Don't get anything with heat, most sign shops don't use heat, it's a waste of money, stick with cold only. I paid $5,500 for mine brand new delivered.
  16. Need info help on installing a DECAL !

I agree with Kottwitz about the cheap skate thing. When I started, the first few years I advertised on craigslist a lot and did signs dirt cheap, mainly because I didn't know how to price that well and also because I felt bad charging the customer a lot of money. So if I was doing double sided...
  17. Need info help on installing a DECAL !

On those you have to use a lighter touch. I haven't had that happen to me, it's a slower process but still prefer it.
  18. Any Corel Gurus here?

Most of the crashes were patched in the latest update. It only takes an average of 4 seconds longer to open. So just leave it open all day, don't close it. I haven't seen any extra delay in opening X8 files at all. If you have a 250mb jpg, shadows, gradients, etc it's going to lag, any software...
  19. Any Corel Gurus here?

No it's not the same with X8. I've been using it since it came out. X7 isn't a good version at all, but X8 blows it out of the water.
  20. Need info help on installing a DECAL !

Here is a big tip on removal. Use the MBX Vinyl Zapper. It would strip the decal and all glue in 3 - 4 minutes. I've used it dozens of times with perfect results every time.
