  1. Flat bed printer recommendation

If you want to use a hybrid roll and rigid media printer, and want to print borderless all around and on metal sheets too, carry much higher weights than with the roland, thicker media, automatic media height detection, multiple sheets at one time and loading of additional sheets during...
  2. Roland SC-545 EX print colour issue

With the 540 the test print will be KCMYLcLm, with a 545 it will be CMYKLcLm. The Switch Pages are looking plausible.
  3. Forced into low ink densities on the L360

The resolution of 150, 300 and 600dpi have nothing to do with printing resolution. With these values you set the rendering resolution of the contone-bitmap-file generated in the RIP-Software. The printing resolution depends on the print mode chosen (lnumber of passes). With the new firmware...
  4. L26500 Print Quality Issue (Vertical banding, thermal maybe?)

Reduce the input tension (driver properties). If that don't help, reduce the vacuum.
  5. Flexisign Pro 7

I'm shure the installation on Windows 7 is new? Flexi 7 will have the described Problems on Windows 7.
  6. Wasatch, calibration and HP 26500

The Z-Series can do calibration internally if it have the RIP inside (postscript version). The new latex 300 series does re-linearisation and (on the 360) ICC-Calibration completely internally without interaction with the RIP (no ICC-profiler or measuring device neccessary), but the...
  7. Issues with printing double sided on HP FB700

Does the camera register you second side? If not, is the media positioned correctly at the same position? If you print from the internal harddisk, and the camera checks the media position, I would suggest to check the margin settings of the job.
  8. Onyx V 5.6

Perhaps there is a 5.6 ... I have worked with 5.5 in 1998 and had a break with onyx until Onyx 7. What do you want to do with that software? Do you use such an old printer? No idea were to download.
  9. Extremely Fast Wide Format

Next year HP will release their own PageWide-Technology. And - as far as I know in difference to Memjet - they will print with pigment inks. Have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvKH7fKKCAM
  10. Onyx V 5.6

Onyx 5.6? Do you mean Onyx 5, Onyx 5.5 or Onyx 6? This software is very old. Regularly you can download Onyx-Versions from the Onyx-Website, but not versions which are that old
  11. How to use printer/cutter as vinyl cutter?

Versaworks dont have functionality for this. Use a plot software.
  12. D160se thinks its a different model & will not detect pinch rollers????

Do you have a 160 S-Class or a D160R SummaCut? There was never a D160SE. If you are shure your plotter is a 160 who thinks it is a 140, boot Summa Cutter Control with shift key pressed. Then you will find a Menu Item "Machine Type" in one of the menus. If you have a SummaCut-R (and only then)...
  13. HP 310 Install Not Going So Good...

I know this problem just with the 300s. I'm working for a dealer in switzerland, and we assemble every printer in our workshop before delivery. Because of a warning we have got from HP in april every 300-Latex will be filled with ink with the left cover removed to have a look on that parts...
  14. Matte gold - 2 issues with Summa DC4?

Depending on how old your firmware is, you HAVE TO upgrade firmware.
  15. FlexiSign-Pro 7.6v2 and Windows 7

You can use 8.6 and above for Windows 7. You could run into trouble with 8.1 or lower.
  16. Looking at Latex as a new addition to our machine lineup, so I came here w/ questions

Be shure it is. I'm in the business (LFP-Support) since 17 years, but the way the new latex do color management is second to none. Using profiles which are compatible and synchronizable with every RIP who have a driver for that machines is a "sensation" (as a product manager of a RIP-Software...
  17. Couple of questions for PC-60 users

Grit Compensation is the way to do that job. But I can't explain it better how to do it as in the manual. By the way: you will not be able to avoid any kind of banding like that. One Problem of the PC60 is that it only uses stepper motors, which can't be driven as exact as servo motors. And if...
  18. FB700 Banding/raised peaks

Do you use standard profiles or custom ones? I have reduced banding with customized profiles with appropriate ink limits and so on.
  19. Purchasing a new mid range flatbed

I would suggest to have an eye on the FB500/FB700. With a camera registration system which could check the position of one or more sheets at the same time, reloading the printer during printing to do continuous printing of larger numbers of sheets, possibility to arrange multiple jobs on...
  20. New to the HP latex printer family, so I have what may be a silly question.

Instead of sending the jobs one after each other, try to nest. It is no difference as long as the jobs are as wide as the media, but they will be handled as one job.
