It varies I guess but you should get at least 5 years +.
I have some signs out there that been hanging up for the past 15-20 years, yes the white is either faded or just completely gone, but the lettering is still on them.
Also when doing horizontal printing what if something goes wrong while printing, you will have to reprint that whole panel compared to just printing 1 vetical panel.
I know you don't use a full roll of VHB tape on 1 sign, here's the thing I don't do installations of this nature, I use independent installers I been using for years but my customer want's me to install them, my guess is price. If I bought the VHB tape not only would it last years but the next...
opps I read it wrong, I thought he was looking for 20-4x12s printed with one image.
I would go with a heavier banner material and depending how you install it maybe you can use one of them rail frame systems.
I spoke to the owner again today and he say's no holes what so ever, I thought of the 3M foam tape but at $90.00 a roll that's out of the question, but the silicone sounds good to me, is there any special kind I should get.
