  1. L25500 - ? how to disable, or opt out of printhead calibration??

Sure you can. Cut your media, lift the blue lever and pull out you media, lower the blue level and printer will nag you, satisfy it by changing printhead, then load media when it asks and let it do it's thing.
  2. L25500 - ? how to disable, or opt out of printhead calibration??

From now on when you know you have to replace a head or want to swop heads, take the media out first if you don't want to do a head alignment on it, it will then ask you to load media and you can load what even media you want providing it is a acceptable media for doing a head alignment.
  3. CMYK Bright Orange?

First off you have got to remove offset press equivalent CMYK profiles out of the process. When you create profile targets for specific medias how bright does orange print on those targets? That should give you a idea of how bright of an orange you can print. Then make sure your conversion goes...
  4. CMYK Bright Orange?

Then I would specify a Pantone C orange and ask them how close they can match it. If they know what there doing to achieve maximum gamut of their printer then they should be able to print a bright orange that is beyond the limits of offset press equivalent CMYK.
  5. CMYK Bright Orange?

What printer? What is the color gamut of that printer and media you want to use? Why does it have to be a CMYK value? Rather limiting, not?
  6. Sign quoting / Job Tracking software solutions

Apparently no Mac or Cloud version? I get my head chopped off if I tried to convert our shop to Windows.
  7. L25500 Prints are printing wrong size.

Did you turn off the OMAS? OMAS turned on will try to compinsate for any banding by adjusting the feed which can result the same print or print length actually printing a different length. When I had the L25500 I always turned off OMAS when doing tiled wallpaper for example and always with good...
  8. edge quality on Latex 360

I just found out if you activate the color variation and text line option under the image quality maintenance menu you will get fine dots printing in area that are supposed to be white.
  9. Issues with Pantone Reds on L360???

100% and 110% is defiantly not enough ink lay down for good reds, but of course it does depend on your media as well. Print the ink density plot with the backlit setting as you will probably find that 120% is still not enough. If your going to try 120% make sure the Latex Optimizer is set as low...
  10. Issues with Pantone Reds on L360???

What ink densities have you tried? Don't forget that Latex Optimizer is also figured into the ink density. Different media will take more or less ink. Some media you probably can't lay enough ink down to get really good reds. If you print the ink density diagnostic plot both for front-lit and...
  11. Issues with Pantone Reds on L360???

Try using the backlit media setting and set your ink density up to 185% or maybe 150% and then create a new profile. You can't go under 12 pass but you should be able to improve the reds.

Have you tried the manual printhead alignment?
  13. L25500 Printhead Test Plot problem

What problem are you talking about? Your nozzle test looks fine and is the way mine always looked. The manual is wrong.

  17. Phone System needed 4-5 phones

Go with DECT 6.0 Plus Technology - 1.9GHz phones. You will have better wall penetration and they will not give nor get interference from 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz Wifi systems.
  18. Pantone 377 C a tough color for the L360

Turns out the banding, I should say one band, is due to vacuum where the platens butt together. Lower vacuum, put a piece of tape over the joint or maybe some foam tape where the two sides meet seems to options for a solution.
  19. Pantone 377 C a tough color for the L360

Nozzle test looks fine. Head alignment done. Interesting thing is when I email HP tech and they saw the output right away they dispatched a tech to install new encoder strip. Have they had bad encoder strips in the L360? I seem to have gotten that impression.
  20. Economical Posters

I quote these kind of posters occasionally usually 50 to 500 volume, usually with pretty aggressive pricing but there is a limit to how far I will go. I figure let someone else lose money. I all most never see these jobs. Makes you wonder if some failing business with a government grant (yours...
