  1. Black friday and cyber deals? Where, I saw none

I bought a nice 27" monitor at Best Buy for $189 which is a pretty good deal. Not the most vibrant colors in the world but it cost half as much as the 24" Samsung it replaced. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-27-ips-led-hd-monitor/1875013.p?id=1219066386928&skuId=1875013

Also, if you didn't make any changes to the file, it wont prompt you to save.
  3. Flexi 10 wtf!...

Try restarting flexi, that will usually fix the dreaded 'file format not supported' "error". It happens to me quite often with .pdf's when I have too many files open in Flexi. Best of Luck.
  4. FlexiSign Pro 10.5 Closes without save prompt

Pretty sure I'm running 10.5 and I get save prompts whenever closing a file or Flexi itself. Maybe try resetting your preferences to factory defualt. Best of Luck.
  5. JV3 Printing crooked

Did you double check the file....or maybe try printing with a different profile, it's either your RIP or encoder strip I would hazard to guess. Best of luck. I cleaned our jv3 encoder strip with a 3/1 water/isopropyl mix on a lint free rag, be very delicate, and wait a while before plugging it...

  10. Wiring my new shop. Does the HP Latex printers have a regular 220 plug?

I hate everything about those printers expcept for the ease of use, and the high quality prints it produces.
  11. White Cotton Gloves???

Just the thin cotton gloves work great, they glide over laminate very smoothly. I would say it is very similiar to the cotton used for t-shirts.
  12. What's your preferance and why?

Definately check out Oracal 3551 its a super-calendered vinyl that is outstanding for a considerably cheaper price than cast. We have some that is 3 or 4 years out and I saw it up close last week(on a trailer that is on the road 5 days a week) and it still looked absolutely perfect. And it had...

  15. Flexi 10 problems running on Windows 7 Pro

as far as the "wrong data format", I have seen it before but not sure what I did to get around it. Most likely rebooted system. Also I have a couple of files(out of many thousands) that refuse to rip using my standard profile that I use every day, switch it to a different similiar profile and...
  16. Need wrap experience in NEPA

That is a pretty ambitious job for someone who needs experienced installers. Are you talking full wraps or just 5 or 6 panels down the side of a box truck? In March it will be cold, you will need to thoroughly clean, dry, and warm each vehicle before applying film, you will need a pretty solid...
  17. Flexi Rants

Thanks for the quote bump wayne. I meant every word. I would say to the OP, in my shop we upgraded my workstation to a SignBurst PC(merchant member on signs101) and Flexi 10 became hugely more stable. It still crashes on occasion, but its generally when I have way to many files open or a...

  19. Icc profile for 3m ij35-10 / flexi / l25500

In the past I've used Oracals 3641 profile on several types of 3M with pretty good results. We had a customer that required us to use 3M products for decals...long story short, after 3 months of running that garbage through our printers we told the customer goodbye. I really dont take issue...
