  1. What is this knocking noise coming from...

I cleaned and lubed both rails thoroughly, but I saturated the carriage rail(the larger one) with lubricant.
  2. What is this knocking noise coming from...

I had this happen about a year ago...I used isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean both rails and I then lubricated heavily laying the oil in a 'squigly' pattern the length of the rails. Alot of oil. The banging vanished immediately.
  3. Banding on Epson SC 30600

I can't tell from the photo, but if the banding is lining up perfectly with your pinch rollers, they are to blame. We had wierd banding with our 30670 after about 6 months of heavy use. Tech came in and replaced them with teflon pinch rollers and problem solved. I should clarify that I'm...
  4. Which printer between S30670 (or S70670) and HP L26599 (latex)?

In my shop we have an L25500 and an 30670, You really cant go wrong here. Both are solid printers, but I feel the Epson gives you much more flexability overall. If high quality prints is your ONLY concern go with the HP. The Epson can crank out very clean, crisp prints in a fraction of the...
  5. 3M Wrap Vinyl Issue...

    +1 '3M vinyl'
  6. Hp 26500 vertical banding

Have you tried turning your temps way down to see if the banding goes away....I have experience with an L25500 and my first guess is way too much heat. I run Oracal 3641G all the time and if I need to plot the job I use the HP Lowtemp Photopaper profile which is 18-pass uni-directional, if I...
  7. Graphtec CE5000-60 bad cuts

I had a similiar issue a couple years ago and a new blade holder solved it. They do wear out, but the one i replaced had well over a thousand hours on it. Best of luck.
  8. Man wants Browns pallbearers so team 'can let him down one last time' Hahahahaha

If nothing else, this guy will make the Lions interesting to watch this year..if he even plays....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDwbjHV8jLo He is from Norway and kicked his first football(as we know it) less than 2 years ago.
  9. Man wants Browns pallbearers so team 'can let him down one last time' Hahahahaha

Just saw this story on the news....I had a good 4 second chuckle. As a Lions fan I feel similar pain anually. Rawrr!
  10. Need Grommets

Fellers has #3's.....not so sure about the great price part, but they will work with you if you are buying large quantities of 'stuff'.
  11. My first credit card charge back! Woo hoo!

Customer supplied dimensions are always tantamount to playing Russian Roulette with your materials and time. Best of luck getting reimbursed.
  12. and i've always wondered why i had such a hard time throwing them out!

They work great for the base of campfire, last year I chopped several down to about 18" then drilled 1/4" holes in random locations. The fire was roaring in 10 minutes without the use of flammables. :wavingflag:
  13. 3M Media

bump... 3M should leave the vinyl media market completely....please.
  14. Gradients in Flexi

Are you flattening the image in Photoshop? If not try that then open the .PSD in Flexi and your gradients should print fine.
  15. Help with importing Adobe files

Have the designers send you flattened .PSD files. Good Luck. P.S. And a black and white version for easily making contours if necessary.
  16. Is there a big difference between Q54 and FC8000-54

I have been using the 8000 for about 8 months, and I like it alot. Fast, accurate, and seems to handle most medias very well. As for the grams of pressure, I don't know of any vinyl or vinyl/lam combo that it couldn't handle.
  17. Oracal 3164 and HP L26500

Just curious if the 3164 worked out for you? We have an L25500 and you really need to be dialed in to get accurate plots with enough heat for proper curing on low end calendered vinyl.
  18. Flexi outlines clipping all corners.

Make sure your corner radius is set to Zero.
  19. Petition the Whitehouse

Hemp paper has always made much more sense to me.....the primary ingredient in paper is cellulose, and hemp pulp has something on the order of 3 times the cellulose of wood pulp. Politicians and Lobbyists will prevent mass hemp production for a good long time to come but someday it will happen.
  20. Off Gassing - recommendations

I believe the amount of ink coverage is a huge factor...light coverage lam immediately...full coverage wait a day. That being said, I have been printing and laming immediately for years with a full solvent machine and for the last year on an eco sol as well and am yet to see an issue I can...
