I am figuring worse case scenario. I never hope something is good sight unseen. Going 350 miles to look at this on Sunday with a friend who is is picking up tanning beds within 10 miles of this place. Trailer already there. No gas paid or transport. All I have to do is help load 1100 lb beds in...
Well I am going to pick it up on Sunday. Got it for a better price. My understanding it has been plugged in the whole time powered on and cycling.
artbot I will follow your advice posted here (thanks by the way) and I am sure I will have some follow up questions as I am currently collecting...
My father used to own the local Lindsay water softener dealer. I helped him out when I lived at home. He used to get that stuff in 50 lb sacks. I know the current owner and I could ask him about the availability and cost of this.
I do believe it is rather cheap in bulk.
Got a handle on a JV3S for less than a grand. 1 Head is going but usable. I have no solvent experience but lots of time on Epson 9000's and 9600's. Can rebuild these in no time. Along with these I have thermal in house also.
Currently I am outsourcing a average 100 sq feet per week and could...
Chip, Intake, exaust and a small propane kit on the diesel and eat new Camaros for breakfast.
I am by no means a Ford man but the potential with any newer diesel in these truck is insane. Chip alone in these can be worth a easy 130 HP and 200+ torque.
OK, I will be the geek here I suppose. Been playing World of Warcraft for about 4 years. My son got me playing and now its about the only time I get to talk to him. Hes a senior in HS and going off to the U of M this spring so it will be a good way to stay in contact with him.
Plus Its a good...
Ah yes. Painted quite a few. Owned a auto body and Hot Rod shop for 10+ years specializing in 32-34 Fords. When the insurance work was slow built alot of cars. Lost all its wheels shortly after 9-11. The market fell out and was to flooded.
And yes, wax on UNCURED clear is very bad. Thanks for...
This. Waxing can cause very premature failure and delamination of the clear from the base coat as will cause uneven gassing if the paint is not cured. I have seen clear cloud and turn white from this. It bubbles under the wax from not venting. Do not know if you have ever seen what happens if...
I would find out if this was baked or air cured. I have applied decals within 1 hour of spraying when baked. All out gassing is finished before it leaves the oven if done correctly.
Pulled these off years later in repairs/repaints and no effect at all.
Otherwise, temp, humidity and sun...
The Basin Street Blue is the common color for B3. Not saying this is the true color by any means just what most use in this situation. There is alot of confusion and the actual color code.
I have done a few cars in this color including a 78 petty kit car. Was going to do my current Volare the...
Petty Blue was just what they called the B3 mopar color when it was on a petty car. I believe the code is CMYK 84, 43, 17, 1 or 77, 1, 11, 0 by some peoples standards.
For me photos up to 13" x 19" go thru a Canon Pro 9000 with Ilford Galerie paper. Anything larger i also have a Espon Stylus 9000 with a variety of photo papers and canvas depending on desired finish output.
In my experience I have not seen anything photo reproductive in solvent. But I have...
Any automotive paint supply store, NAPA, Ace Hardware, I think even like Menards and such places will have them.
Very common in auto body and wood refinishing sections.
I use them for laminating and wiping down substrates, delinting screens prior to adding emulsion onto them. When they get...
I do not use a POS. Invoicing is done thru QB and estimates, tracking etc with Graphix calc and my big dry erase board.
With the different structures any one job can throw at you I would think a POS would be tough. Maybe in a very large shop but just does not fit my budget and approach.
