No experience with it, but also not a fan. just means it'll take longer to print. acrylic can be a pain to print on but you can get digital acrylic for UV inks to adhere to. Same with aluminium composite sheets. But i've never had an adhesion issue with aluminium.
I've tried that. Everything is metric until i go to Print now and it's in imperial.
On x10 i had it on metric. I have no idea how i changed it though of if it is buggy.
You'll like x12.2 It's quicker with more options. and even the previews on your RIP-Queue are larger and colour managed too...
on previous version of onyx i had it set to metric, but for some reason i cannot figure out how to change it as it defaults to imperial.
So everything is metric except Layout preview. This is when you press Print Now button and i get another box to preview the layout (flatbed) and it's all in...
you have to look at a dot plot. when the dots get close to near the end of the curve that's where you restrict it.

Might try that.

You won get the colour profiles close as you want then if you just do a print read next method. It's an art form as I've learnt the hard way.
You can get ok profiles with onyx in the print read next method but it you know what you're doing, onyx can spit out some high quality profiles.
I rather own a licence than pay a subscription.
Like MS office for example. I can use the new one, or use the older ones. dont care as they all do the same job.
There's so many different ways you can do these things depending what you want.
re calibrating profiles is sometimes a good start when you dont know how to make profiles properly. But you really want to start with a good profile. At times a profile could be poor on your printer, but a re...
Depends what model you have, missing nozzles dont cause an issue depending on how many print heads. The newer arizonas have double print heads so 2 in 1. I also have double cyan and double magenta so 4 of each in 1 row.
But because you're doing the maintenance yourself, it's up to you to make...
