  1. Review Oce Arizona 660XT Review

I have a 480xt. same as yours, except only a single row of heads. We print a lot of fine art pieces on glass, and with machines with double rows it can cause density banding. But the machine is great. Oce support is second to none. I use Oce inks and no issues. still running original print...
  2. HP L260-Keep losing magenta heads

If you put an older set of heads, do they stop working immediately or are they good for 10-15m of print before they die out again. if so, it probably isn't the heads. ink supply possibly.
  3. Need Help Acrylic sign faces going wavy...

hmm 610mm x 5486mm x 4.7m thick. (we usually use 4mm or 6mm) Acrylic expands when warm. (this is why i love using glass) we usually use standoffs and allow play in the holes for movement.
  4. Wanted Wtb Xrite I1 Pro 2

You should just create a new thread. more people will see it. I do like the idea of having an interface for ArgyllCMS. I've tried one, but never got it working properly and gave up as i already have ICC creation software. I've heard that ArgyllCMS is okay for printer profiles, but for an open...
  5. Wanted Wtb Xrite I1 Pro 2

Are you promoting the software since you've posted it twice? interesting though, ive never tried argyllCMS before because i dont have an i1 and couldn't be bothered working out how to use it with my barbieri devices. Might have a look at it.
  6. Need Help New Flatbed Printer, software not loading

Try onyx. Either RIP centre or Postershop. Thrive would be over kill for you. They offer a 30day full working tral. Only thing is not available is to create an ICC profile using their engine. I believe postershop is the more popular one. myonyx Login | Onyx Graphics
  7. Need Help New Flatbed Printer, software not loading

Bingo! Always good to have a good RIP. because you can upgrade your printer, and keep the RIP. And as always - better support with high end RIPs. If i run into an issue with onyx and someone here doesn't know about it. I can just call or email onyx and get an answer. If you cannot get your...
  8. Onyx 12 ICC Profile skipping light colors?

I dont have light inks so i'm not to sure. I do have them on my Epson p600 but that's an "rgb" printer which means the light ink curves are pre defined inside the printer. But on my Arizona when printing Spot colours the patches on screen come up as the colour you set them. obviously you cannot...
  9. Onyx 12 ICC Profile skipping light colors?

I have 12.2 also. no big change from 12.1. but 12 to 12.1 there's a few changes, specially in thrive. They should show? If they're spot colours you usually tell onyx what colour to show them as.
  10. Onyx 12 ICC Profile skipping light colors?

I was playing with spot colours the week. I can't remember from the top of my head exactly what to press to get there. But when you choose your print resolution, usually another box popes up when you go next with other printer settings. in that box you click another button (print setting...
  11. Need Help New Flatbed Printer, software not loading

I've highlighted your problem. You maybe able to find an open source RIP with a quick google search. Most Chinese printers are based on epson printers and usually use the same drivers.

  14. Direct printing to Coro

i have a corflute (the actual name, not brand name) outside my shop for a few years in direct sunlight. Yes its faded, but you can't tell it's that minimal. it's been there for 3 years. Printed on my Arizona flatbed. OEM inks. That's another reason i wont go 3rd party inks. People can tell me...
  15. Direct printing to Coro

I see this all the time with signs. It's the ink. Not all ink can survive the outdoor sun. But it's usually good if you get 4 years or more from it. not 1 year or less.
  16. Suggestions Wanting to start a new printing/sing company

Damn gino you gave someone newbie advice. good for you! But i second ginos quote. You should know what you need as you've been around it for a few years. but you'll need to do quotes, paperwork ect too.

  20. Experiment with Layered Vinyl Undedneath Vehicle Wrap

Neat idea. not seen it on that type of application, but common on stuff like car interiors ect. I think it'll be a hit or miss with applying the vinyl. i would think that leaving the under layer on for an hour, or a day or how ever long it would take to adhere to the car properly. You've got...
