    She's full of balogna. I ran 2 different inks together for a month... never an issue. This was probably 6 months prior to parking the machine, so no issues.

    Are you having ink transfer over to the waste ink bottle? Is the waste ink bottle getting filled at all or is it bone dry? Could be a clog in the lines, or a snipped line by the capping station. Unlikely, but possible. As far as the 4 color vs. 6 color, I just setup the RIP to only run 4...

    Apples to apples. A Valuejet to a VP540, equal. A Falcon to a SP300, equal. You can have problems with both and personally I'm on a Mutoh tangent. I love 'em. I do not believe a Roland is any better than a Mutoh, or vice versa. They're pretty much on the same level.

    Does anyone know the difference between the Graphtec blue blade holder and the red blade holder? If they both can take 45 and 60 degree blades, and both fit the same machine, why are there different blade holders? This is baffling me...

    Personally I think Corel is a far more thought out program than Illustrator, and even though I learned on Illustrator I am far more comfortable in Corel. But it's mostly personal preference. Stay AWAY from photoshop! lol. Not any good except for photos and special effects.

    Run a few heavy cleanings and see if that helps, and also crank up the heaters a bit.

    720x720 is PLENTY sufficient for most all prints that I have seen, and that's what I ran this printer on since I bought it. :)
