    basically stretch the whole thing, and as you apply it will 'shrink back' to optimal length. you can get all fancy and only stretch every x inches that will be in the channels, but it probably wont be needed.

    for B, lights are always going to cause problems with 1-way vision films, its the nature of the beast. for A, 'no visibility either way at all' isn't really frosted - you can make out shapes etc

    I have no issues with foam brush or foam roller. are you thinning it? you should thin to a milk-like consistency in my experience.
