I think I see where it may have come from. Can I just order another and put it back in myself. Should I not use this printer until I replace it? Just curious what the purpose is?
Quote for 2 electric eyes was $1,000 and $800 to just come out plus repair time. Cannot afford $2500 right now. Need to find someone to help with the jumper wire.
Have a post below about my Seal 62 Base being out of commission due to a bad safety sensor which locks out the laminator from working (It does work in snail mode)
Have a call in to Grimco and awaiting there return call. Would prefer to pay someone on the side that is in se Pa. and could work on...
I am about ready to try the bypass clips but my wiring picture does not seem to match the other one shown. Anyone that can help so I don't mess this up?

Mines totally different so don't think I want to fool with it. Guess I will have to get a quote for the repair but if it is too much I will keep using it in snail mode.

Small one man shop with very little work for this machine so don’t have a $175 an hour to have a tech right now. It is the sensor and was hoping I could just bypass myself.
The only way to get the normal light to come on is to engage the snail mode with the foot pedal and normal light comes on but it is in the snail mode. If you turn snail off and press the normal mode the light does not come on even when pressing the foot pedal. Opened both ends and evrerything...
I must agree but I want to see how close I can get to my pigment prints. The papers I have been trying with the solvent are just sort of blah. What does look pretty good is some posters I have been printing on some Lexjet poster paper. Bought a half dozen 60” sample rolls they had laying around...
No, We photograph the original artwork so there is no paper to start with. Most are acrylic or watercolor on canvas. We do many on canvas but almost all the artists want a more economical paper prints to sell.
