So as it turns out OP bought the wrong cutter. You've still got a nice printer and lots of orders coming in. Why not buy a more suitable standalone cutter which will make your operation more efficient anyway? And you still have the onboard cutter for thinner stock.

Monomeric usually shrinks more than poly so unless you wrap around the edges you might see a dark line of fluff around the edge where the lam shrinks back leaving glue. It just doesn't have the lifespan either so you may find it just failing totally before the print vinyl. If it's a permanent...

We never had an issue using 1360 or 1460 laminates with a similar laminator. We never felt any need for any heat though.
