I stopped doing xfers because they all feel so "transferred" in the shirt. As if I stuck a vinyl sticker on!
If you guys have a xfer for the Roland xc-540 that doesn't feel like a transfer.. Send a sample and I'll be a client. Have a 20 and 60" heat press readily available

You know what.. I only use printable 5600. So I always laminate it after printing.
I suppose if it was a standard color I would use plain xfer tape. Most likely clear do I could see pressure spots.
Agreed. Use 5600 with 290 or 293 lam. I apply that stuff with no transfer tape and a wet suede squeegee. Keep an edge up for air to release and squeegee firm.
I've already priced and considered one of those art robos. Direct to vehicle printing will be th future in fleet wraps. Assured.

I usually only keep track of media left on roll by printing sheet remain each time.
I did however do a full inventory this year and realized I had a couple extra rolls of 3951ra, ij180c-ver3. Sweet! Time to re wrap the company vehicles lol.
I understand the software. I get paid to make people's printers print consistent. I'm telling you, is simply a file prep rip. it's essentially taking your files in bulk, converting them from input to destination in the same color format.
The same thing as throwing 100 client files in a folder...
Seems like a lot of money to waste for something you can do in illustrator and photoshop with a simple action script.
I run all of our clients trade files through a script to standardize ICC profiles.
Anybody wants a solid color wrap.. Price triples.
And.. I usually tell them it would be better to get it painted. These people expect a paint like finish and unless you tell them it's not gonna happen then they will eat you alive!
