  1. Windows 11

It's not going to support Intel processors before 8th gen. All you guys running old XP and Windows 7 computers are out of luck! Not that you're the type to upgrade anyway :D
  2. Mimaki CG-100SRiii / FineCut Issue

Go to Mimaki's website and download the latest USB driver. They tend to update the driver and it conflicts with certain versions of FineCut until you update it.
  3. Buying a used SP300

Check us out for the most common parts. A lot of the common parts for the SP300 are use din other machines so they are easier to find. For anything else we don't have or you can't find, try Ordway Sign Supplies in the southern cali. As for the original post, that test print looks like there...
  4. protecting surface with vinyl or laminate?

Tell him to go to a window tinting place and they'll throw some clear bra on the areas that are most susceptible to getting chipped.
  5. Question Print and cut question

Am I reading the picture correctly and the cut is about 1.5" too far up? If that's the case, are you printing and cutting immediately after or are you laminating or something like that in between?
  6. CJV30 Firmware

Error 07 is a head heat error which means the head circuit is shorting out. Check your head cables for damage or ink splatter on the silver leads and replace if needed. Other than that, basically anything that would short out the circuit is causing the issue like another bad cable deeper in the...
  7. CJV30 Firmware

I'll let you in on a little trick of the trade. Install the old malfunctioning head back into the machine with the head memory board plugged in. Then boot the machine in service mode (power on while holding function and remote). Then go into the menu and scroll down the the #adjust menu. In that...
  8. Need Help My Roland SP300i is giving message service call 0110 I have cleaned the encoder strip

Make sure the encoder is still in between the encoder sensor all the way across the machine. If the sensor is not straddling the encoder, it can't read it. If that looks good, I would start by changing the sensor out. This error specifically means that the main board didn't receive a value from...
  9. Need Help Mimaki 3042mkii - 11f System Halt

You can access the log files via a computer and the proper Mimaki software. Mimaki just doesn't give it to end users.
  10. Discussion Cut vinyl and 2 color screen printing are coming back for revenge!

    I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having 6. It's called a tasting and it's classy.
  11. Roland sp-540v

It looks like the cyan is probably having ink flow issues. I would disconnect the cap top from the pump and try to pull ink through with a syringe while the heads are capped. If you pull air and the syringe doesn't pull back on you, you need a new cap top. If you pull and get suction but no ink...
  12. Roland Sc 540 print head issue

Normally when one channel drops like that it's going to be an ink flow issues such as a bad damper, broken manifold, or air getting in the system through a leak. The fact that there are two full channels missing tells me this is electronic though. My best guess is a damaged head board. Most...
  13. Question how to purchase mutoh system board

Which is well worth it if something goes wrong.
  14. Advise on horrible customer

I have a no tolerance policy for abusive customers. Upset about a mistake we made? I'll do everything I need to make it right. But the second it becomes abusive, you're done. At 50% you're sort of hamstrung though. I'd raise your prices on him and start seeking as many new customers a possible...
  15. Question how to purchase mutoh system board

I just responded to your request on our site but figured I'd followup here. Mutoh only sells through dealers like us. They don't recommend end users replace boards but I've helped many people do so over email. The only issue is when you do it yourself, even with my help, there is no warranty...
  16. Wide Format Printer Reviews

It's sort of like the UPS/FedEx debate. Whoever wronged you last is the worst supplier. For every brand, I could find someone who thinks they're junk and someone who thinks they are the best. Your better bet would be to research the technologies and see which one works best for you. All of the...
  17. Need Help Mimaki CJV150 Capping Issue

These things get thrown out of whack over time which is why there is an adjustment in the first place. I'm willing to bet it was just simple wear and tear.
  18. Need Help Mimaki CJV150 Capping Issue

If the Y-origin sensor is in working condition but the flag on the head carriage is bent out of position, you wouldn't get an error. It would just not reach the Y origin properly and do what your printer is doing. The capping position adjustment doesn't adjust the position of the capping...
  19. MUTOH 426UF - ink on head problem

That's one model I don't have a lot of experience with but usually when ink is falling out of the head it's a damper issue. I assume that machine uses dampers since it's the DX7. Dampers usually need to be changed every 1 to 2 years in my experience.
  20. Need Help Mimaki CJV150 Capping Issue

There's a photo interrupt sensor on the right side of the machine on top of the Y rail. That sensor is the Y-origin sensor and tells the machine it's back at the capping position. If that's broken or the flag on the carriage that trips the sensor is bent out of place, it can trick the machine...
