that looks fine. I run VW on a duo core pc from like 2005.
Video cards are not a big requirement for digital signage work. It's more for gaming and 3d rendering. You're in good shape.
Ruler + Xacto, Image Edge, Fotoba WR
I used the ruler and knife for about five years, then bought an image edge, which is a great tool. I eventually grew to hate coming into work and started to fear large orders because of finishing time. I bought a fotoba and now I laugh every time I...
FLAAR likes them, so I'd think they work, but the OEM latex ink is so inexpensive, I don't see why you'd switch.
While the inks may print nicely. You run the chance of the inks degrading rubber or components in the ink train. Then you're looking at a 1200 tube assembly two years down the...
I'd buy an older roland for pennies on the dollar for a start-up. The xr looks amazing, but a lot of coin for a new biz.
Although I bought a new roland myself when I started and I turned out it fine. What do I know? Ha-ha!
I can tell you that oem roland ink is crazy expensive.
Is your periodical cleaning is turned on? It should do that unless you have PC turned on.
If you can get into service mode you can turn it from normal to light and change the interval.
I won't be able to run a flatbed for this application. I wish that I could because I'd like to add it to the stable, but I need a roll to roll machine.
I love Rolands, but the ink cost for the amount of printing doesn't make sense. (XR's)
The Rolands I currently have will stay. 745 & 645...
I have two six color machines. I'll have to look into their speeds at dual CMYK.
I have become quite smitten with the LX850. The three phase power requirement is a drag out here in rural Maine. I'm trying to find a building that is already equipped with it. I've been told that putting...
HP says the latex performs as well as Eco-Sol and Mild Solvent inks. So the inks are not as strong as full solvent.
I've been looking at LX850's and that machine comes with a factory MCS warranty, so the inks should perform fine. I believe that printer uses the same inks as the new l2...
I run RGB is it's not color critical. The "pop" of the RGB is amazing, but if it's color critical I run CMYK. More muted, but the colors will run as they do on my calibrated monitor, so no surprises for the most part.
I've been home based for 8 years or so. Two years part time and the balance full time. It's looking like I'll be making the move to a larger facility in 2013.
I love working from home. Tax breaks, low overhead, 7 second commute. I'm actually dreading the warehouse move a little since...
Welcome! I was just in your neck of the woods last week. I probably drove by your place.
