I can get deep reds, but only with custom profiles. I have to pump up the yellow channel a bit. There is a fine line here. If you go to high everything goes greenish.
How do the heads clean themselves? On eco sols we have pumps that suck ink through the heads.
Do you have to manually flush flatbed heads every time there's a clog or pressure problem?
Is there some kind of priming system that bleeds ink through the heads if needed?
This stinks.
I've been looking to buy a machine from Grimco, but I think I'll walk.
I hope you get this all sorted out. Please let us know if you're able to track down the cause of your troubles.
I thought these big boy printers were bullet proof. Looks like every printer made has it's quarks regardless of price. I'm sorry to see this happening to you guys.
I was going to suggest re-initializing VW, but running it off the techs VW with the same results has my head scratching as well.
Have you done a cold reboot of the printer. Unplugged it for few minutes and tried again?

I may be wrong on this, but this is what most older Rolands use. Worth a look.
I am currently going through this problem right now as I type this.
Happens to me every fall and spring. I believe it has to do something with atmospheric pressure. I have an open tank bulk system, so it can be a pain in the butt.
You won't have this problem in a couple days.
A passing fad. They are a great tool, but I rarely see them anymore in print. They saturated everything for a year then fell off. I still use them. They have their place.
I love Solaris inks. I have been running them for probably three years now. Zero problems. When I ran triangle inks I burned up one to two heads a year. I do not use their carts. I run bulk liters. I have no idea how their carts are, but the ink is great.
The ink does stink. If you are in...
Weird question.
Does this problem come and go. My machines usually give me a trouble in the early spring and early fall. Sudden temp and pressure changes drive me insane.
