No. You can't sell the prints off this machine unless you laminate everything. It can't do banners either. The medias for that machine are very expensive as well.

I love my two Rolands as well, but my 745 is a touch problematic at times. It's a money maker for sure! I've had my 745 running nearly everyday since 2006 and it still runs like new. I'm about to put in my second scan motor. That's how much this thing runs.

nice. That can't be done with solvent. You need someone to check on your printer every couple days when you're gone for more than a week.

Yeah - I have Triangles old open bulk system. Which has pressure issues up the wazoo.

MikeD, I have a friend that runs sublimation ink from one bulk system to two printers. He runs the printers at slower speeds. The tanks are not designed for two printers. The tanks can't supply enough pressure. Also, bulk systems are temperamental, I couldn't imagine one set up for two...

listed in order. Most likely culprits. Cracked manifold, bad damper, air leak, bad head.

The thermistor on head 1 is probably damaged. Check the temp via service menu.

Andrew, Does Roland plan to move this ink train into a XJ series type printer? I already have a GX500 and don't need a print/cut machine. I love this setup, but would like to see it in a print only machine. Please advise.

the small gap between the passes before you reach total passes is a feed calibration problem.
