No. You can't sell the prints off this machine unless you laminate everything. It can't do banners either. The medias for that machine are very expensive as well.
I love my two Rolands as well, but my 745 is a touch problematic at times. It's a money maker for sure! I've had my 745 running nearly everyday since 2006 and it still runs like new. I'm about to put in my second scan motor. That's how much this thing runs.
it's spreading. This will blow up in 3m's face. They need to look at long term sales. The cost of fixing all these poorly installed wraps is going to kill them. (based on the posts from the 3m thread) Don't forget the loss of business from an entire industry.

I have a friend that runs sublimation ink from one bulk system to two printers. He runs the printers at slower speeds. The tanks are not designed for two printers. The tanks can't supply enough pressure.
Also, bulk systems are temperamental, I couldn't imagine one set up for two...
Andrew, Does Roland plan to move this ink train into a XJ series type printer? I already have a GX500 and don't need a print/cut machine.
I love this setup, but would like to see it in a print only machine.
Please advise.
