Ouch, we just shipped a small box of printed items (12 X 12 X 6) from North GA to CA by means of UPS. 12 Pounds, $28. Man that hurts. UPS definitely needs competition. When is Amazon getting into the shipping business?

2 quick ideas. Go to Wikipedia and read the article on Macromedia Freehand. Then go to EBay, search for Macromedia Freehand, and you might come up with a set of discs that you can buy and install, pretty cheap. Also most of the time, higher versions are able to open files from previous versions...

I run (2 )VP-540i's. Based on the nozzle check you printed I'm surprised your getting any blues to print. It;s always best to print with all nozzles firing, and along with that, if you have the correct profile you can actually get some excellent colors with the VP-540i. I ran for about a year...

It would be great if you could find a kid coming out of High School locally. You know, an industrial arts type of kid. Not college material but the kind that likes to work with their hands, make things, fix things. Maybe ask the guidance counselor or one of the vocational teahcers. Just an idea...

I don't have one but a buddy of mine in Alabama has a Xante X-55. He said he loves it. That will print 24 X 36. Take a look at his video on YouTube. Black Warrior Printing. It's worth a look.:cool:

His English is better than my Hungarian. Üdvözöljük It would be cool if it had a vacuum attachment to take away the dust. Print shops and wide format machines do not like dust. Keep up the good work!
