  4. Put out to pasture...

I'm with James Burke.... Don't be "out to pasture". Be out to 'stud'. Teach. Pass on your talents to the next generation. Give back what you have learned to those, perhaps, less fortunate.

Does the yellow damper have ink in it? Is is sucking magenta from the cart? Is the capping station sealing properly?
  6. Mutoh Pump Life Times

It is based on Mean Time Between Failures. It does not disable the machine, but lets you prepare for estimated replacement of said part on your own time.
  7. falcon outdoor 46 48?

The FalconII's were a different model. These were typically 6 and 8 head machines. The Falcon 46, 48's and 62 were similar and 2 head machines.
  8. Armed Forces night at my house - both wanting my daughter!

I agree with skyhigh and Adtechia. Any idea of how many innocents they personally took out doing exactly what Adtechia describes? What 'success' would you be describing? How many of 'these' people, both the 'enemy' and 'innocents' had anything to do with the collapsing buildings you mention?
  9. Mutoh rockhopper Pinch roll lever

The rollers themselve just pop in and out. Part of the arm, fits over a hex shaft and would require removal of all the rollers on one side of a broken one to remove and replace.
  10. Spit Pads

They are currently made out of different materials. But it is only a splash guard. They should be chemically compatible, but the 'wafer' type pad for the 1604 may distort more than the foam on the 1608, so you will need to watch it more closely.

Have you backed up all your flexi profiles, etc and reset "Preferences" to 'Default"?

You should have unless your effect is Superfine and B.
  14. Faded registration marks

Registration marks are generated in the RIP. You may want to back up all your profiles and reset "Preferences" to default.
  15. VJ1618 Print Mode

SuperfineA and SuperfineB effects probably should fire only one head. All other 'wave' effects should fire both heads always.
  16. Ultima 1400d rogue cut when contouring

It looks like there is a Win 7 driver: ftp://ftp.mutoh.com/Printer%20Information_Manuals/Ultima%20Cutters/Drivers_Utilities/ So I am not sure what the issue is. If you will PM me the serial# I will look up the history.
  17. Ink Density

Ink density is controlled by the profile. Matte medias typically will take more ink, so you might try a matte profile to get more ink. This does sound like overstretching of the media by the installer, however.
  18. Political Joke - Not Political Discussion

One of my favorites: While walking down the street one day a US senator (no one in particular) is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance. "Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a...
  19. Streaks (smugging) on Banners

Heater options are in the "Printer Options" menu in Flexi. I normally run 35 prehead, 38 platen, 50 dry. The orange lever on the head carriage will set the head height.
  20. Streaks (smugging) on Banners

Raise head height and lower temperatures. Sounds like head strikes.
