No it would not be. Do a search here on 101 for this machine. It is in no way worth $5K. For only $9K you could find a nice used eco-sol printer that will blow that machine away tenfold.

I wouldn't do it personally. It costs a small fortune to print (my retail price on eco-sol prints will be your COST for these thermal prints), is slow, breaks easily and hard to get parts for. I'd save up for a better piece of machinery, personally.

Figure on atleast $20K in equipment to do this right. I'd suggest a Mutoh Valuejet, Roland VersaCamm, or Summa DC4. They all range from $12-$15K. Then about $500 in vinyl and laminate to keep in stock. Then roughly $200-$400 in tools. You could use a hand laminator for $100 or so, or if you...

Easier way to do it in Corel. Double click above the bad area, double click below the bad area. That adds a total of 2 nodes. Drag and click bad nodes, click delete, and you have a nice circle. The 2 added nodes keeps everything in place, without distortion. This is getting to be a funny...
