Anyone know a source or supplier that sells reflective vinyl by the foot or yard?
I don't stock black reflective and have a small job for a customer who is requesting some.
Thanks
Keep getting a false error about out of magenta (slot 3) on Roland SP-540V?
Printer beeps and stops printing and shows a blinking 3rd ink slot (magenta), however, the 440ml magenta ink cart is about half full.
I remove the ink cart and re-insert it and the printer prints as usual for about...
I was in the same mindset as you, no local tech and they change $150 p/h including travel time plus an inflated price for the new DX4 head.
Just a few weeks ago I purchased the new head from solventinkjet.com for $735 including overnight shipping and two dampers with O-rings and they sent me...
I don't have the skill set to create the photorealistic looking flag, however, you seem to think it's easy so I would gladly pay you to re-create the image for me, I want it to look like this image, how long will it take you?
I'm trying to find this EXACT flag graphics, it doesn't have to have the torn edge as I can create that part, just need the flag with the wrinkles. Anyone know the source? THANKS

It has a 250# rating so only good for one person, but it works well for me on jobs that my 8'...
Well, GOOD NEWS!
I finally got around to replacing Roland Dx4 Printhead On SP-540v, and the CYAN overspray is gone.
I tried many other different fixes to get rid of the overspray without success, the head replacement was the only fix.
Purchased the printer new in 2010 and this was the first...
I have a new head on hand and need to do the replacement, which I have never done. You say you pulled ink into the damper with a syringe, call you explain that procedure for as I don't know what that is? Thanks a bunch!
The blue (cyan) mist is the same problem I have, some say it's caused by static but all the other colors are perfect and even the test print looks fine so I guess I will change out the black/cyan head and see if the cyan over spray goes away.
I know you need to flush/fill the head when finished...
Thanks a bunch, I appreciate you taking time to give me the pointers, you are so right about the incompetent tech, I'm sure there are good techs out there but a have head a few stories about so called Roland techs that do more damage than then repair and some that just keep changing out parts...
