You're a very likeable person Steph.....Its your cross to bear!!!
I have a very similar "supper time", "pizza is ready story" from 2 weeks ago. After being polite and measuring his vehicle, along with pictures.....I come in to find everyone has finished supper, and I got to eat my cold pizza...
I'm thinking about a nylon material......think of an American Flag. Typically the cheaper ones last about a year. The better nylon ones last a couple years.
So they don't have that type of material for banners?
I have a 3' x 12' banner hanging from the bottom edge of a gas station canopy using keder rail (blowing in the wind). I used 13oz scrim material (with sewn hems), but after 3 months the banner is showing signs of fraying & cracking. By 6 months, the banner is quite the mess. I didn't expect it...
you have to use the "arc" text tool....not the "path" one.
With the arc tool, you then hit the "enter" (like starting another sentence), to move to the bottom.
Like this?
Ya caught me OldPaint. I came on here with a ruse about rubber molding, all the while hoping you would chime in, so I could then goat you into designing a better layout.
I think you meant "can't" design a layout for ya. (at least not one better for the money.....many on here could, but you're...
Kudos to you for letting her "have it".
This is what will bite you in the arse, if you don't CYA. Even if you do state in her invoice your recommendations for repair, you WERE the last one to open that can. I think this is what some are referring to. Your fault or not.....you will be in the...
you last 3 posters are correct.....moot point, as there is indeed NO rubber molding.....uggg my bad (my picture looked like the rubber molding anyways).
:thankyou:
Desiree made a good point......Just make sure you mask out the molding in your mockup so the customer can see that it goes through...
Customer hasn't even took possession of the van yet. He told me the van was a 2012 leftover....Had no windows on the drivers side, but did have glass in the double doors passenger side.
Me: www.cars-dot-com.....search perfect side view pics of a 2012 E250.....clip as fast as possible...
I feel your frustration Gino. Cover your a$$ on the invoice, and state the other problems that needed addressed (that the customer refused to perform).
I've been in this very situation where your hands are tied.
Here are some "Wise" words to live by.....
thanks for the "high bond" (convex?) solution.
As for the "clip job" on the van....yeah. But, how much "time" can you spend on a cheap customer (or to post on here)?
#75.... And don't run away now Butt-O. Don't leave, just when things are about to get fun.
I've posted plenty of past jobs on this forum.....yet, you want to critisize this "slap and paste" job (for mr. cheapo customer), as my level of talent.
Other than a half ***'d, elementary school...
haha.....you little cartoon sketcher. Have you ever built a real sign butt-o?
How about we post up some past jobs? I've never seen anything you have done.
I've seen your mediocre level of talent in elementary school.
worded differently, but already covered in the 19 viewers.
