I have 2 Gerber Fastrack 650's. The first one turns on but won't initialize to its start position. The second one works perfectly sometimes and other times when I turn it on all the lights on the panel just flash and it won't do anything. It seems to do it at random times. Does anyone have any...
LOL I have mine set at 20-21 depending on how old the blade it and can cut Cast, Calendared and Thermoflex for shirts.

Its amazing how everyone has different pressures with...
Well I have my VT 9600 from US Tech up and running in my shop. Had to make a few adjustments and it is running great. Love just running a piece of vinyl through the laminator vs using the squeegee. Thanks Dave at http://www.bestdgi.com/products-cold.php for the great service and help. :thumb:
I ordered my VT 9600 online from US Tech on Friday August 29th, It showed up the following Thursday. Set it up in my shop last Sunday and we were up and running. Other than a couple minor adjustments it is running flawlessly. Any questions I had I emailed Dave at...
Check your fans underneath and there is a little one behind the back panel next to your ethernet cable. If they are full of dust build up they will make noise. I actually replaced the small one on the back with a new fan. PM me if you need to know where to get that one. The others are still good...
Just ordered a VT 9600 from Dave at US Tech in Florida based on reviews and actual phone conversations with people who have owned one for 3-4 years. It is due here today and hope to get it installed and running this weekend. Looking forward to using it.
Sightline,
Thanks for your feedback. I placed my order for the new VT 9600 with takeup reel but no power up/down for the roll. I felt the screw drive was fail safe when compared to the power motor and no take up reel which was my other choice the MVT 600. For $200 more to have a takeup...
Well last night I made the decision to purchase a laminator :omg: and move beyond the Big Squeegee. Got pretty good with the Big Squeegee but really like to look after using a good friends laminator and the price of the US Tech is not as hard to swallow when compared to the RS or GBC. Any...
Sightline, can you update us on how your laminator is working? I am considering buying a laminator and reading the reviews on all. My interest is peaked on the USTECH.
I have a Gerber Fastrack 650 that is giving me an XY connect failed error based on the manual but it does not tell you how to fix it. Can someone give me any direction on what the problem is so I can fix it. I have another 650 to use for parts and would like to get it up and running. I tried...
I wasn't sure as Singlab and Wilcom work with a corel shortcut for moving files from one to the other with just a click. It saves having to export or save files to another format just to import in to SL or Wilcom.
Ok so i just had a new SSD drive installed and new storage and backup drives installed on my system. So my question is what is the best order to re load the software on to my new drives. Keep in mind I am loading them on the 256gb SSD and keeping the other drives for storage and a daily back up...
I am always open to other options and that is why I posted it here. I am by no means a computer guru. Lol
I will definitely consider the options you suggested and thank you and OldPaint for the input. :thumb::thankyou:
OP thanks for the step by step. I plan on using the old drive in the box as a slave for sure. I am also gonna set up the backup of my 2nd drive to the 3rd as they are identical. I also keep a backup on my external as well. Also good to know that the SSD will hold my OS plus my other software...
