  1. 2XL Hoodies

We were told there was a problem with one of the mills that produces fleece. Not sure if a storm took the place out or what but its a bad year to try to find 2xl hoodies, especially in black.
  2. My Supermodel Daughter

It's actully not a Cabernet but rather a Merlot, which I can imagine is possibly even worse.
  3. US Cutter Plotters

I agree. When I first started cutting vinyl 3 years ago I bought the Copam CP2500. It was supposed to be professional grade. I never had anything but trouble with it and next to the Zen Cut Black I beleive they claim it to be their best off brand cutter. My advice is buy a Graphtec or...
  4. frosted hell.

If only i could be that lucky.
  5. frosted hell.

I was told you are a homosexual druggie. It was a really reliable source too. That kid from Texas wouldn't b.s. this guy.
  6. frosted hell.

According to Oracal, you use a teaspoon of regular Joy or Dawn dishsoap mixed with a quart of water. However, to me that siunds like a lot more soap than is really necessary.
  7. Trifold brochure

Another question...as far as typography goes, I would guess you are referring to the overall structure of the text and not the use of font/s themselves, correct? Any additional feedback with regards to that would be great.
  8. Trifold brochure

Thanks for the link to the templates. I had considered using a template from the start but I don't have access to any good templates and didn't really consider purchasing them. I actually would rather learn by doing, anyway. Although time consuming, it ultimately will help me reach my goal to...
  9. Trifold brochure

I love your sketches, John. Very cool idea. We had entertained the idea of doing two brochures...one for signs and one for the screen printing. What do you think of that? Overkill? Or could it possibly be the better solution?
  10. Trifold brochure

Because I wouldn't even know where to begin. Where does one go about hiring a copy writer without hiring the whole advertising firm? Keep in mind we are a new company, on a thin budget, especially since we just purchased a new 6 color screen press that we have another 60 days to pay off. And...
  11. Trifold brochure

Techman... Upon re-evaluating this, don't you think that being a "one stop shop" for all your advertising needs is a relatively pain free objective?
  12. Trifold brochure

Here is where I am at with the front of the brochure now. Wow, what a 180 from the first go around, but I'm getting happier and happier with it. I'm still not convinced that we need to have the option of mailing them but I will see what my partner says and the idea will either sink or swim.
  13. Trifold brochure

Personally, I think we have needed a shorter URL since we started our business, or at least one that links to our site. I've never been thrilled about a 28 letter URL, in fact I think it's kind of worthless. Even if people do take the time to type it all in, they likely misspell it the first...
  14. Trifold brochure

At least you didn't say "That sign stinks!" or "That sign looks like S**t!". Believe me, I've heard them all!
  15. is it me or is everyone a marketer?

We've yet to have a design submitted in bitmap format, but we have had more than one Microsoft Word, as well as Auto Cad document submitted in the last year we've been in business. We try to educate our customers about good art and bad art but most get lost the minute you mention the words...
  16. Trifold brochure

So keep the photos uniformly placed between the folds rather than a photo collage type thing spread over both folds like I posted here? I hope I'm understanding you correctly.
  17. Oh dear another tragedy

    :goodpost:
  18. Trifold brochure

Thank you, qmr, for posting that. I must say it inspired a little different direction than what I was going previously. I hope you don't mind that my cover is a near perfect rip off, but I honestly really like what you have posted there. Sooo.... Here is my latest attempt. Sorry...
  19. Have you ever tried to sell your distributor on a specific brand?

If Grimco (in Springfield) is who Joe is referring to, I don't think distribution territory is any sort of issue. the reason I say that is because Grimco bought out N&F Supply a little over a year ago and N&F was an Oracal distributor. I myself have asked Grimco why they don't carry Oracal and...
  20. Trifold brochure

Okaaay...pictures aren't posting. I will have to try again later.
