Roland inks are different as far as I know.
The Roland yellow has nickel in them I believe.
Epson does not which makes it safer and apparently not uv resistant.
The epson is very nice, but I still love my Roland.
That's the reason I hand squeegee. Sometimes I will get some smaller bubbles after that step. The smaller ones will dissipate in a day or so. Bigger ones will take longer, so usually pop any larger ones. The micro ones I leave alone.
Micro bubbles will go away. Any bubble that...
Looks like silvering. Everything I lam with the BS has this for about a day and then looks perfect.
If it's staying longer than a day you need to apply more pressure.
I also hand squeegee everything I run with the BS to ensure even contact between the laminate and the print.
Switch to a totally different profile just to see if that helps.
Run a generic photo paper profile or something.
It's funny how some profiles are super grainy and others look like spot colors.

3) You need to do a bi-dir calibration

Arlo,
I'm so sorry to hear about your continued problems. I understand the burden of trying to survive when your body has other ideas.
I whole heartily hope that everything works out. We've never met and probably never will, but know that there is a sign guy on the coast of Maine that...
So I'm looking to pull the trigger on some finishing equipment and I was directed to American Capital Group out of Irvine, CA.
Has anyone here used them? I'm not too excited about throwing my financials all over the place.

cheaper than a 1000.00 dollar head.
what brand machine are you running? The cleaning solution is usually available from the oem in a 500ml bottle for around 100.00.
If you're doing aftermarket ink you can use a the cleaning solution from the bottle.
This is awesome.
I've about to pull the trigger on a Fotoba myself.
Did you look into these machines at all?
I briefly checked out Zund. As amazing as they are. The machine would take up too much valuable floor space for me.
Congrats on the Zund. Awesome machine.
