well on the Oracal profile the inks are 95 and 100% and the ink pools and the print looks like shit. Thats why i wanted to change the levels,,,other than that i use the Mutoh all in one,,in flexi 8.1 before they changed to the color profiler you could changes the ink limits with NO problems what...

Its is checked.......try it out sometime and go in the profiler and change the ink levels on any profile like Oracal 3651 and hit save...then go open the print propertys and to color management,,,you'll see your profile with a error and the profile changed and the profile you wanted is no...

Randy can you give me some info on how this system works,,,can i drill a hole in the bottom of the waste tray and printer chassis and hook up some fittings and a tube,,, how would this affect the readings on the over flow for the waste tray ? can i buy the tank and tubes and fittings from Mutoh...

from the looks of it all the fonts in that picture have the names next to them. Let me check my data base and see if its correct.....no luck here sorry i couldnt help

Hey Randya....in this picture the 1304 has a waste tray and a bottle........can that conversion be placed on the 1204s? I would like to get away from the waste tray. and if so where could i get a kit to convert it? Thanks.

Yes i got it to work correct..........the auto cleaning 1,2 and3 is for when the machine is on and or in standby...and the sleep mode1and 2 is for when ya put it in sleep mode. this information should be added to the Firmware PDF in the future.

Sounded like a profile issue!!!!! If you did many many cleanings or refills or small charges on the head your tray would be full. Be careful if you put the new or cleaned tray back in and forget to change to Yes to the change.......it will over flow and spill because it wont reset the flow...

make sure your using the correct profile in the Production Manager for the media you are using ..... to check this open PM and double click your printer to open your printer property's and go to the 3rd tab over(Color management) and choose a profile for the media your using.

No in the auto cleaning mode is goes from 10 min to 1440 min,in sleep mode it has the hours. I have cleaning mode set to 360 min and when i put it in sleep mode it cleans every 10 instead of 360 min.

I have a VJ 1204 and I noticed my auto cleaning was not cleaning at the 6 hr time that was set, i was running firmware 1.12....i called tech and they said the new firmware (1.18)will take care of this issue and also add a sleep mode.I updated the firmware to the 1.18 and set the sleep mode and...

Same here Doug...... when its off its off,,when its on in cleans every 6 hours.

Dale i did call CMYK and asked if they had or could get parts for the 1204....and the guy said NO.....

My Mutoh VJ 1204 takes a Epson DX5 print head.
