Profiles make the print! If you are not using the correct profile you will get blurry prints for sure. Be sure you have the profile selected for the media you are using.
A little? NO a LOT! LOL. Fellers for films , Grimco for substrates. Nglantz, not had much luck with them, they seem to want to have bigger accounts, so one man shops are not on their radar.
I do outdoor wood plates like this. I use a mahogany wood panel the print the information on an aluminum blank an att it to the wood. Can you just laminate a new aluminum panel over the existing panel?

Print and cut will only be accurate for about 8' on that machine. And that depends on how close the cut and print are registered. If it is a close cut I only go 4'-6'.
I cut it right down the middle of the door crack, heat it up and wrap it around the door. What material are you using? That might be a good starting point.
These have to me clear coated after the fact. There is a local guy that does guns. Holds up great IF you put on a good clear coat...if not it rubs off.
I do this. I let is soak for an hour or so, keep adding mineral spirits. Don't use a plastic scraper, you will damage the acrylic. It will rub off without needing a scraper.
Reefer or Van trailers (ribbed or flat)? How many rivets? Do you have to remove the back bars for the door install. I have done 53' trailers that were $5,000 and then some that were $500.
