I'm changing a bunch of faces for backlit signs. Replacing the acrylic with polycarbonate. In the past to make the strips that hang in the frame I've used polycarbonate scraps and drilled and screwed. Does anyone have a better way? Is there a glue for this like there is for acrylic? And the job...
When I say "dust free" I'm referring to a wheeled cutter such as a Fletcher. It has rolling wheels to cut the polymetal, although the Sawtrax design ACM cutter would be much closer to yours
If you could adapt something like this to it, you'd multiply your market here ten fold...
Looks like it's well made. If you can make a dust-free polymetal attachment or make someone else's fit that thing I'd buy one and send you a bottle of Canadian Whisky.
Although for a couple extra bucks plywood would look so much better than osb

Was planning on buying a fletcher FSC for cutting polymetal and coro this spring. Thinking this is the way to go. Thought these were much more money AND I can cut .080?
Almost done my new shop.

3) I also think "clever" spelling changes are unimaginative and cheesy. ie...

Make two cuts. One along each edge. Use the door as a guide for the blade, but angle the blade AWAY from the edge. It will give you just enough material to wrap it a little around the edge and will not show the metal if it's a contrasting colour.
Justin Pate's DVDs are a good start.

I love reading facts stated about products from people who have never owned or used them.
First of all: Eco-Solvent- I have a Roland SP300V in my HOME for three years. Fumes are NOT an issue. If you're printing a large area of dark ink you may get a faint smell. I have also had my printer sit...
