Two and a half years in (full-time) and I'm moving UP into a garage out of my house.
Just built a 1200 sq ft shop with in-floor heating, four large windows and and it's going o be lit up like the sun.
I'll be acid staining the floor and then coating with epoxy and urethane. I should be in by...
I have the most respect for people with that kind of patience.
In a strange way, those are the things that give me hope for our race.
Absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for sharing
My thought is that if you are getting paid your regular rate for your time for the design work and the usual deal is to give the client ownership of the property then your post is fueled by greed.
I saw an Ezy Taper mounting to substrate demo at the show in Vegas in April and I was very impressed. Unfortunately I didn't ask for a laminating demo. I am going to make laminator purchase in the next couple of months and am seriously considering the Ezy Taper. I'm having a hard time with the...
I appreciate that Dan, and I'm not trying to start a political argument on this thread, nor do I think you are either. And my family also has a long history of military service all the way back before world war two. My background and education is specifically in marketing as well and I can say...
Well presented. However, if you're looking for feedback, I don't care for the lower right of the letter "N" It doesn't match any of the other letters like "M" and when it sits before the "T" in GENTLEMEN it looks funny. Sorry. I noticed it so I thought I'd throw that at you.
Watching this thread closely. My new shop is almost finished and I'm planning on building a storage rack right away. I like the use of the pallet racking, but the plywood sheets seem like overkill for a divider. Pat, looks like total chaos in your shop, but that's usually a sign of a busy shop.
Ok I'll bite. It's somewhat amateur, and yes. I used Mistral. But I still like it. Not sure if anyone gets the wave in it or not, but somehow it still seems fresh to me. I'll try again in another couple years maybe
Moze, I'm referring to the quality of the tools compared to other brands, not compared to today's battery technology. DeWalt fell off a great deal in my opinion when they were acquired by Black and Decker a few years back.
I was a sales rep for an industrial supply company for 12 years before my sign venture. I sold Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt, Porter Cable, Bosch, and some Chinese tools. I can say that I don't care for DeWalt (older tools were much better though) at all. If I'm going with a combo kit I would go...
I still haven't decided on replacing my Roland or moving to latex but I just want to be as prepared as possible. Should have heat on in my shop sometime in the next couple weeks!
