Altough I don't have a Roland but I use a Mimaki JV3 and I have printed full rolls of 60" wide of decals and never had a problem, I'm talking 1000s of decals at once. So 200 would be a breeze.
How cheap can you be?
You can do this though, make a separate bottle for each color and put your waste lines in each bottle to collect that color. You really don't save much on ink cost, but that's for the super cheapo's!
Who in there right mind would use OEM ink in a converted printer, use bulk ink at 70 dollars a liter, DX2 heads are 200 each, dampers on ebay are cheap
I only buy prepainted mdo now. I use to mount digital prints onto primed mdo all the time till a customer told me he saw his sign and it was a blank, the print just fell off. I learned my lesson, pay the xrta few dollars and get the painted mdo or paint it yourself.
